Acetoxy-based sanitary silicone is designed for sealing joints and expansion joints in sanitary fixtures, bathroom ceramics, washbasins, pedestals, cast-iron and acrylic bathtubs. It is also suitable for sealing bathtub edges, shower screens, protecting edges, and installing tiled staircases and plinths.
Thanks to the gradual release of the active substance, it provides long-lasting protection against mould. After curing, it forms a flexible, waterproof joint resistant to UV radiation and normal weathering.
Warning: the silicone cures with acetic acid. It is therefore not suitable for sealing metal surfaces where discolouration may occur, or for building materials containing cement and lime.
