Benchmade Auto Triage combines fast automatic opening, high durability, and practical equipment for emergency situations. The main blade with a partially serrated edge is made of Austrian Böhler N680 steel, which offers excellent corrosion resistance even in demanding environments, including contact with salt water. The matte black Cerakote coating reduces glare and improves protection against scratches and corrosion.
Triple Utility provides three important tools in one knife:
- automatic main blade for fast cutting,
- automatic 440C steel hook for safely cutting seat belts and straps,
- carbide glass breaker at the end of the handle.
The blade and cutting hook are activated by pulling the AXIS safety mechanism, making them ready for one-handed use. The safety switch on the spine allows the knife to be locked in both the open and closed positions and prevents accidental opening in a pocket. The 6061-T6 anodized aluminum handle with G10 anti-slip inserts ensures a secure grip even with wet hands or while wearing gloves. The reversible black deep-carry clip can be configured for either the right or left side of the handle in the tip-up position.
