Educational Counting Game Hedgehog from Lucy & Leo combines fun threading, sorting and clipping activities with children’s first steps into mathematics. This Montessori toy, made from a combination of wood, felt and rope, develops fine motor skills, concentration, sensory perception and recognition of fruit, vegetables, numerals and mathematical symbols.
Peg game for fine motor skills
Clipping colourful felt pieces onto the rope using wooden pegs exercises grip, hand-eye coordination and movement accuracy.
First counting in a fun way
Numerals, mathematical signs and the hedgehog used to set tasks help children become naturally familiar with basic counting concepts.
Rich Montessori set
A wooden base, pattern cards, felt fruit and vegetables and a cotton pouch create a complete educational game for hours of discovery.
The Hedgehog game offers children an original activity with “laundry” made from soft felt. Using wooden pegs, little explorers hang fruit and vegetables on the rope, assemble pictures according to the patterns and gradually become familiar with numbers and simple arithmetic operations. Thanks to its colourful details, the game supports patience, attention and creative play over the long term.
This rich game set is suitable for playing at home as well as for preschool education. The combination of different materials pleasantly stimulates children’s senses, while handling the pegs naturally exercises hand-eye coordination.
